Residential Rebate Program

In addition to natural gas storage water heaters, programmable thermostats and smart low-flow showerheads, Southwest Gas has added additional rebates for natural gas tankless water heaters, clothes washers and natural gas clothes dryers.

Program Description

For a limited time, Southwest Gas is offering rebates on the purchase of qualifying natural gas storage and tankless water heaters, clothes washers, natural gas clothes dryers, programmable thermostats and smart low-flow showerheads installed in its Arizona residential customers' homes.

You can purchase qualifying equipment at home appliance stores, on-line, or through a licensed plumber. Only equipment meeting the program efficiency guidelines will be eligible for the rebate. Offer is limited to two (2) of each qualifying equipment type per customer per calendar year. Any individual rebate amount shall not exceed the purchase price.

Rebate Application

Request a rebate application by calling 1-866-802-7790, or download an application from this webpage. Rebates can also be completed on online, click here.

Purchase Dates

Rebates are available for purchases made August 15, 2010 through November 30, 2011, or until funds are no longer available, or until program is discontinued, whichever comes first.* Due to limited funding, please submit your application as soon as possible after purchase. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application Deadline

Rebate application must be postmarked by December 15th, 2011.

Required Documents

Along with the completed, signed rebate application that includes your Southwest Gas account number, please submit a copy of your invoice(s) (or receipt) that lists where the equipment was purchased, the date(s) of purchase, and model number(s). Note: Appliance(s) must be installed prior to the payment of any rebate. Southwest Gas reserves the right to verify both the efficiency and installation of equipment before rebate is issued.

Processing Time For Rebate

Please allow 6 - 8 weeks to receive your rebate.

Limitations

This offer is limited to equipment installed in an Arizona residential customer's home receiving natural gas from Southwest Gas. Offer not valid in conjunction with other utility rebates for the same end-use product.
